Auction In Action

In 2010 the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame held their first ever All-Star Online Charity Auction. Fans bid on eBay for trips, game packages, memorabilia and one of a kind experiences with Hall of Famers, over 30 of whom donated their time to make the event a huge success.

The list of participating legends included Gordie Howe, Kirk Gibson, Joe Schmidt, Vinnie Johnson, Dick Enberg, Ted Lindsay, Willie Horton, Billy Sims, Greg Kelser, Lem Barney, Mickey Lolich, George Perles and Alan Trammell, as well as local media personalities like Jim Brandstatter, Dan Miller, Eli Zaret, Sean Baligian, Tom Leyden, and Mike "Stoney" Stone.

Join our Facebook Fan Page and follow us on Twitter for all the information when it becomes available.

Here are images of some of the winners enjoying their experiences.

"I want to sincerely thank you for an experience that my friends and I will never forget. An interactive opportunity such as the Red Wings Brain Trust Dinner was certainly a once in a lifetime experience and something that just can't be duplicated. Everything was handled professionally and with a touch of class. If there is anything I can do to support the MI Sports Hall of Fame, please let me know."

All of the people involved did an amazing job. You all were very accommodating and went out of your way to insure us of a wonderful time! Please make sure to put me on your mailing list for future stuff that you have going on at the MSHOF, we would love to be apart of it."
