Bob Reynolds

A legend in sports broadcasting. Created an unrivaled sports department at radio station WJR. Broadcast Detroit Lions (31 years) and Michigan State University football (18 years). He called Notre Dame and University of Detroit football games as well as the Blue Grey game, the Rose Bowl and NFL playoff games. Covered most sports including auto racing, golf, yachting, baseball, tennis, football, basketball and boxing. Named Sportscaster of the Year four times by the National Association of Sportswriters and Sports Broadcasters. Was Sports Director at stations WFDF and WTAC in Flint before coming to WJR in 1952. One of the original members of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors. Inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
